1) It's a Wonderful Life (1946)  Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed

Everybody knows this movie and they should.  

2) The Bishops Wife (1947) Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven

Cary Grant as Dudley the Angel.  Underrated classic.

3) White Christmas (1954)  Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney

Could be number one on any list.  The music is amazing.

4) Scrooge (1970) Albert Finney or A Christmas Carol (1984) George C. Scott

"That's the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me!"

5)  Bad Santa (2003)  Bill Bob Thorton, John Ritter

I know what your thinking, but this is on almost every "best of" list.  Just watch it.

6) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)  Chevy Chase, Beverly DeAngelo

The Grizwald's always make me feel nostalgic for my youth.

7)  Holiday Inn (1942) Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire

Not technically a X-mas film, but was the movie the song White Christmas debuted in.  

8)  Miracle on 34th Street (1947) Natalie Wood

Maybe my favorite "Wood" movie !

9)  Christmas in Connecticut (1945)  Barbra Stanwyck and Sydney Greenstreet

"Just flip the pancakes one time!"

10) The Santa Clause (1994) Tim Allen

It's a top ten even with Tim Allen in it !

Honorable Mention:  Home Alone (1990), Scrooged (1988), Holiday Affair (1949)  Bells of St. Mays (1945), Miracle of the Bells (1945) and The Holy and the Ivy (1954)

**** Christmas Story is not listed as it sucks !
