Is it just me or was Battleship (the movie) pretty good ?

So last summer everywhere I looked people were SLAMMING the Movie "Battleship"

 

I rented it early in 2013 from REDBOX and even my wife said it was enjoyable

So now it's on HBO and I watched it a second time and guess what . . .  I still liked it !!!

So box office aside (it made serious BANK worldwide, but not as well here) I think it gets a BAD RAP!

If you have not seen it I would recommend it.

Maybe I am biased as I have toured WWII ships and have an appreciation for them, but even then . . .

IT's VERY Good !!!!!

A List of the Best things to watch on TV this Season

It's the time of year when we start getting hit with many "finales" which sounds the End of some shows and the Beginnings of others.

BEST NEW SHOW

1) Monday Mornings on TNT.  

This show is AWESOME.  Ving Rhames.  The ratings have been soft so get out there and see it!

2) The Mindy Project

Gr8 show!!!!  I love MINDY

3) Don't mess with the B in APT 23

This is already cancelled and that SUCKS

4) Go On

I wasn't sure about this, but Mathew Perry made me dive it a chance.  Now I am on board !!!!

Season Finales of TV's Best Shows

So this week marked the end for Justified and the Walking Dead.  We have to wait until October the the Zombie's and probably February for Raylan and Co.

We lost Andrea in the finale and this is sad.  She wasn't always likable, but she was good with a gun and never lacking on Attitude.  

Carl, as we all suspected, was revealed to be a bit unstable, bordering on Sociopath city.  I like Killer Carl.  I look forward to more poor behavior from him next year.

I don't have any comments on Maggie except that with Andera gone she is going to have to carry the "hot chick" tourch all alone, unless they turn the camera on her little sister . . ewwww

Meanwhile in Harlen County it looks like they are locking up Ava.  Boyd Crowder is one of the best charachters on TV and I have a feeling he will bust Ava out.  Don't sleep on Boyd.  He's a man who uses 100 words when 2-3 will do !

Raylan and Winnona, Is she ever going to have this baby or not ?  Raylan came up with a lot of solutions that did not entail him shooting people this season.  This shows gets better and better and Timothy O is the centerpiece.  How about  next year we get R and W back together for a bit ?
